Great pictures Ian and I so agree about the garage. Looking forward to news on the canal boaty stuff especially on the journey from where you are now, to getting close to home.

In fact, we can’t say that in Welsh because we have no ‘j’ in our alphabet (nor ‘k’).
That is a good bridge repair, but it never will blend in because the new bricks are ordinary ones and the original would have been much harder and ‘blue’. I live very near several bridges of blue brick and very fine they are, too.
Have a spiffing new year, old bean and enjoy the boating; I am really looking forward to reading about that. Do you need to swim? I thought the canals are rather shallow.
