Hashtag IT’S NOT HACKNEY. I don’t think that apostrophes are used in hashtags, are they? Punctuation’s probably a bit too grown-up for #hashtagworld.
It may not be the now entirely foreign country of Hackney, but it is a little bit Chilly (sic).
If you’re wondering why I’ve singled out the London borough of Hackney for hoots of derision and buckets of contempt it’s because I stayed there a while ago while on a trip to London.
Never again.
I don’t think I’ll be missed.

I do love a sunny and frosty morn!

It’s a great combination, even if a chap does have to run outside while still wearing only his combinations in order to catch the light!

Tis indeed. Yonder “The World” has some stunning and magnificent, dramatic scenery, but I do love a gentle bit of England (as well as the rest). π

How you must suffer! Views of fields and all!

I am a weird one, I don’t even like the views in marinas, and I really, really don’t like towns – much prefer to be out in the open (where I can see the Establishment approaching, and pop ’em off in plenty of time with the elephant gun). π

Not at all weird. I think there’s a growing number of folk who don’t much like their fellow human beings en masse. I know quite a few, (myself included). Individuals are fine, it’s just when there are so many together.
I think it might be a form of claustrophobia brought on, in part, by there being just too many people in the world.

Well it’s terrible how you have to suffer with such horrific views.

The associated trauma (Isn’t that a “news” agency? Associated Trauma PLC.) is terrible, but I grin and bear it. π

I suspect the name itself is a clue to the place – Acne, the pimple on the boil that is London. Perhaps a touch of lancing on our next visit?

That, or a touch of Worthing instead.

One has to feel enormous sympathy for those subjected to views of fields, wildlife, water and foliage day by day.

It is indeed a terrible burden, but I always try to do my bit. π

Yay, it’s frosty here too but nowhere near as lovely as these pictures. That is a Shredded Wheat field isn’t it?

Mixed Shredded Wheat and Weetabix. I can’t seem to find the fabled field of Coco-Pops anywhere.
According to the forecast we’re to be frozen for a couple of days and then blown away by eleventy-twelve miles per hour winds. Extra bungees out again on the canvas covers… π
